Fog machine manufacturer Antari has appointed Robe America as its sole US distributor. Under the terms of the agreement, Robe America has the exclusive rights to sell Antari fog machines and related products throughout the US and Mexico. Robe America will also distribute Antari products to Central and South America.
Founded in 1985, the Taiwan-based Antari is internationally known as a designer and supplier of fog machines and other atmospheric effects, such as snow and bubble machines. “The Antari brand is synonymous with the very best in fog machines,” said Ron Ramirez, national sales manager for Robe America. “We are very proud and honored to represent such an unparalleled, world-class product. We feel there's a natural fit between Antari and Robe America, because both companies are committed to servicing the premium end of the entertainment market with the highest quality lighting and special effects.”
As seen at Robe's LDI booth last weekend, much attention was given to Antari's new flagship line, the X Series professional-level fog machines. The X Series's features include heater blocks made from cast aluminum, rather than standard aluminum; the former hold heat more efficiently, apparently resulting in a higher fog output. Other features include quiet pumps and a unique case design.
Other Antari products to be distributed by Robe America are the Z Series of foggers, for clubs and entertainment venues, and the Vivid, an opening line aimed at mobile DJs.
