Tallinn City Theatre Re-invests in Robe

The acclaimed Tallinn City Theatre is re-opening after a three-year closure that saw implementation of a full renovation and technical upgrade programme, including the purchase of new Robe moving lights – 55 x T2 Fresnels and 17 x T2 Profiles – and the addition of a complete new main venue which is two stories below ground, and brings the busy and vibrant repertory theatre’s performance space total to seven – 4 main, two extras / experimental and an outdoor area. The same team also operates shows in another building down the street.

Robe Takes a Walk in The Park

Production lighting for the vibrant and diverse Park Stage at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival was once again supplied by Bristol, UK-based SWG Events. A design by Mat Spencer – also Chief LX for the project – which included nearly 70 Robe moving lights, helped deliver great lighting for a blistering lineup including Anohni and the Johnsons, Haim, Caribou, Beth Gibbons, The Maccabees, Gary Numan and many, many more who delighted audiences throughout the three-day event.

Robe Brings on the Sunshine for Carnival Cruises

A new Robe moving light rig has been installed in the 800-capacity ‘Liquid Lounge’ main theatre space aboard the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship, which stages a host of large-scale production shows, themed performances, and other entertainment events. This was undertaken during an extensive refurbishment of the vessel whilst in dry dock at the Chantier Naval de Marseille in Marseilles, France, earlier this year.

Robe Makes the Moves at Cpunt Venue

Cpunt (CPoint) is a multi-purpose venue with several performance spaces in Hoofddorp right at the beating cultural heart of Haarlemmermeer in the Netherlands, just outside Amsterdam, complete with two concert halls, a theatre, a flexible studio space and a library, it buzzes with a lively entertainment programme including theatre, music, art and various related workshops.

Robe Lands Huge Order to Transition Estonian Theatres to LED

Robe’s Estonian distributor, Tallin-based E&T, is in the final stages of delivering an enormous order for moving and LED lights for 10 major theatres across the country, where all forms of live performance are strongly engrained in Estonian culture, and being entertained by theatre is a hugely popular activity.
