Brazilian superstars Limao com Mel have invested in 36 Robe Spot 250 XTs and 12 Robe Wash 575 XT fixtures. The first show on which their new moving lights were used was the recording of their latest live DVD, at the Olympia Hall, Sao Paolo, Brasil, in front of a live audience of 15,000 people.

The lights were specified and recommended by their LD Ivan Moura from Showdesign, and were supplied by Robe’s Brazilian distributor Trendy Lighting.

Limao com Mel have used other moving light brands in the past, but wanted to try some thing new and different, starting with their latest DVD shoot. They were well impressed by the performance of the Robe fixtures compared to their "competitor" products. “The brightness of the Wash 575 is amazing” declares Moura, adding, “And the speed of the Spot 250 XT’s is unbeatable”. They will certainly be using and recommending Robe a lot in the future confirms.

Limao com Mel (lemon with honey), is Brasil’s top 'forro' band. This specific type of music is a happy mixture of elements including Forro traditional music and rhythms from north-east Brazil, pop music, modern instruments like guitars and keyboards ... and romance.

This was the band’s 12th DVD/CD. Their songs are characterised by romantic lyrics, a fabulous singer and and an infectious forro rhythm. They lean towards a forro-romantic style, fused with the dynamics of hip hop and techno songs.
