The large warehouse would definitely win a prize for being one of the best organised and cleanest in Sweden, and Wille and his team pride themselves on providing equipment maintained to the very highest standards. Another company practise is to always ensure they have the latest technology to offer their clients, and that’s why they purchased Robe LEDWash 600 fixtures from Robe’s Swedish distributor Bellalite.

This followed a demo by Robe’s Key Account Manager for Europe Ingo Dombrowski. “I thought they were an incredible unit,” Wille declares adding that the fixtures’ integral Lumen Radio wireless card has been a real advantage.

Fourteen of their new LEDWash 600s went straight out on a version of the well-known musical “La Cage aux Folles” at the Oscar Theatre in Stockholm (LD Ulf Englund).

Wille thinks they are excellent for shows needing specific colour temperatures for photographers and video directors – e.g. fashion and automotive – with the pre-programmed selection of whites … with the bonus of also being able to create a fabulous selection of colours – from the subtlest pastels to the richest saturates.

“They are great as a modern substitute for fresnels and for creating a general ambience and colour wash,” he says. “Basically excellent all round general-purpose wash lights with some excellent extras”. He observes that you can create a great atmosphere in a room using just four LEDWashes.His crew love the LEDWashes for their small size, light weight and the fact that you can climb a ladder with one in each hand!

Naturally they are also perfect for venues that are challenged for power .. and no time is needed to manually focus them – it’s almost plug-and-play! It makes setting up extremely quick, and all time-saving parameters help crews when working on events.

They recently saw a demo of the ROBIN DLX Spot …. Which was of great interest as they are looking for an LED Spot fixture to pair with the LEDWashes.
