Die Kultur- und Festspielstadt Bad Elster kann auf eine lange Theatertradition zurückblicken: Bereits 1888 begann der Spielbetrieb im Alberttheater am Brunnenberg. 1914 eröffnete die in Bad Elster gegründete Theatergesellschaft dann den Neubau des modernen, repräsentativen König Albert Theaters in Bad Elster. Die beeindruckende Architektur im Publikumsraum wird dem zweiten Dresdner Rokoko-Stil zugerechnet; dorische Säulen vermitteln Anklänge an die Antike. Mit nur zwei Logen gilt das Haus als „demokratisches Theater“.

Robe Blinds Friedrichstadt-Palast with Delight

One of Berlin’s most iconic venues, the Friedrichstadt-Palast, AKA Palast Berlin, a revue theatre in the city’s Mitte district, has made a substantial investment in Robe moving lights to help facilitate its newly launched Grand Show production, BLINDED by DELIGHT, created by Oliver Hoppmann, complete with a vibrant new lighting design by Chris Moylan of Sunrise Studios.
