Lighting designer Jo Kilgour created edgy and graceful lighting for Hatupatu / Kurungaituku: a forbidden love, a breathtaking new aerial dance work produced by Aotearoa’s boundary-pushing kaupapa Māori theatre company, Taki Rua Productions. The work, written by creative director Tānemahuta Gray and Kapa Haka by Wētini Mītai-Ngātai, premiered at the Tãwhiri Warehouse in Wellington as part of the 2024 Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts.

Das Theater De Leest investiert in 230 ROBE-Scheinwerfer

Das Theater De Leest in Waalwijk hat seine Bühnenbeleuchtung umfassend modernisiert. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine Investition in 230 statische und bewegte LED-Scheinwerfer von ROBE, die in beiden Veranstaltungssälen des Hauses eingesetzt werden. Damit ersetzt das Theater teils noch aus der Eröffnungszeit stammende Bestandsgeräte und stellt die Beleuchtung technisch wie energetisch neu auf.

Endla Theatre Re-Energises with Robe

Endla Theatre in Pärnu, Estonia, has reinvested in Robe LED products across its two performance halls as part of a wider conversion to LED lighting, related to the Estonian “Green Turn” initiative. This has seen 16 of the country’s major theatres – a mix of local government and private performing arts institutions – convert lighting stock from tungsten-halogen to LED over the last 12 months.

Peter Pan Flies with Luz Studio & Robe

Montreal-based Luz Studio, headed by Matthieu Larivée, was asked by producers Entourage to create a visual design for their staging of Peter Pan the Musical at the city’s Espace St-Denis theatre. It was the first time that this famous fairytale musical had been presented there and in Quebec, and the challenge was to ensure that all the adventure and charm of the original story were replicated in a more contemporary setting.

ROBE und ANOLIS für Disney On Ice Jump In!

Mit Disney On Ice presents Jump In! hat Feld Entertainment Ende August 2025 in Orlando eine neue Produktion gestartet, die in der Saison 2025/26 durch 36 Städte tourt. Für die technische Umsetzung setzt das Unternehmen auf ein Lichtkonzept mit 90 ROBE iFORTE Moving Lights und 20 ANOLIS Divine 60 UV LED Leuchten. Die Produktion verbindet Eiskunstlauf, Luftakrobatik und Spezialeffekte mit einer visuell stark ausgearbeiteten Lichtinszenierung.
