Munich, Germany, based full technical service provider SSM has just expanded its rental stock with the purchase of new ROBE ROBIN® 600E Spots.
The new ROBIN ® 600 Series was launched just 2 months ago at the 2010 Prolight+Sound, Frankfurt - and has enjoyed phenomenal interest.
The latest technology developed by Robe lighting is a new class of fixtures using the latest Philips MSR Gold 575 /2 Mini FastFit lamp. Available in Spot, Wash and Beam models, the light output equals the intensity of the 700 Series, but with less power consumption.
Including all the popular features of the ROBIN® 300 series, the 600 units have an additional "green" feature which is an infinitely variable DMX fan control. This further reduces the current consumption and extends the lamp life. The body size is also extremely compact as it is the same as the ROBIN® 300 Series.
Ralf Schoger, managing director of SSM, states, "The ROBIN 600E Spot is based on a relatively small sized moving light, but with a very bright output, making it versatile and perfect for numerous applications, particularly those where a 700 Series light is physically too large, but real intensity is needed".
He adds that the ROBIN 600 is the only unit in its class with a high quality colour mixing system, which is an absolute must for today's leading shows. "The excellent gobo projection, the robust engineering and the high reliability are further reasons why we choose the ROBIN 600 to be the latest Robe innovation in our rental stock" he concludes.
